Christmas crafting is one of my favourite things to do, and this year, I have made some Christmas crackers using my robin and wren wrapping paper! You can fill them as you wish - chocolate coins, homemade hat and your best joke! You can buy snaps online too!
You will need:
- Wrapping paper cut to 29.5 x 17cm
- A piece of thick card 29.5 x 17 cm
- Scalpel knife
- Downloadable template
- Ribbon
- Cutting mat
- Ruler
- Name tags - optional
- double sided tape
- Treats to pop inside!
You will need to download the template here. I printed it on to printer paper, and used it to cut the template on to a piece of thick card. This then became my master copy for cutting out all the crackers!
Once you have cut your crackers, use your double sided tape on to the three tabs down the long edge. These will then stick when you roll it!
Now you need some luxurious ribbon or bakers twine! Cut a piece around 50cm and lightly wind it around the cut triangle area. One you have the ribbon in place, pull it tightly but gently, and your cracker will will form! Tie it in a lovely bow! Add in any treats that you wish and your snap, if you are using one! Then do the same for the other side. I have added small kraft gift tags from Tiny box company, and you could also add a piece of rosemary or eucalputus from the garden!
I would love to see your crackers!! Send me photos to info@particlepress.com and I will share them on my social media!
Christmas robin wrapping paper, Christmas wren wrapping paper and napkins are available in my shop! Happy crafting!
